Compact, versatile, and reliable — the RRS 2kg ABC fire extinguisher is a practical safety solution for motorsport use and beyond.
The 2025 Motorsport UK Yearbook, Section K3.1.6 states that dry powder extinguishers are permitted as handheld extinguishers in rally cars – provided they meet the minimum required quantity.of 2 litres.
Housed in a durable steel bottle and filled with ABC powder, this extinguisher is suitable for tackling Class A (solids), Class B (flammable liquids), and Class C (gases) fires. It features a pressure gauge for easy monitoring and is fully refillable for long-term value.
Supplied with a quick-release stainless steel bracket and straps tested to 25G (in line with FIA standards), it's well suited to rally and race environments — while also making an excellent choice for garages, workshops, campers, road cars or even around the home.
