The units are available equipped with Drive or Fog lens patterns with 2 different adjustment stud positioning, one version is spaced at 120 degrees from each other, the other is spaced at 90 degrees from each other. Using a combination of both models enables these large 180mm diameter lamps to be mounted closer together so in certain cases enabling them to be used in smaller lamp pod units where normally a lamp of this size and performance would not be possible.
The units come complete with all adjustment hardware and compact mounting plate in which the lamp unit sits. This has a diameter of just 172mm and offers a multitude of pre-drilled fixing locations, making fitting these units to a bare pod very simple. The units 3 x ball & socket located adjustment studs enable a very high angle of articulation of up to 10 degrees to be achieved without binding, enabling precise positioning of the lighting beam. Additionally, the lamp units are equipped with high quality bulb gaskets and proven SuperSeal connectors and caps for increased reliability.
The performance of these lamp units is seriously impressive. When equipped with H3 100W bulbs, the Drive lens option provides a useable range of close to 450m, this stretches out to over 700m of range and 40m wide when using the Xenon option. The Fog pattern lens provides a shorter blanket of light which spreads out close to 60m with a range of up to 200m when using the Xenon option. See the light beam pattern image for full details.
